My text innovation utilised the book Possum Magic by Mem Fox. It concentrated on the general verb - noun relationship and location in a sentence. This powerpoint template would be used after reading the book with the class in a guided reading format and pointing out the pattern of the different locations of the verb and noun.

Copyright at university and schools
Can I copy material from the internet for research? Yes you can. If the purpose is for research or study, it will not infringe copyright.
What constitutes research and fair use?
The Macquarie Dictionary states that research means: "diligent and systematic enquiry or investigation into a subject in order to discover facts or principles...”
Research can be for personal use and you do not need to be enroled in a course.
Fair: The concept of fair generally implies approximately 10% or one chapter of a publication.
Can students use music in videos that they make? Generally copyright rules apply when copying or using another personals material, unless permisson from that person is given. Schools have a licenceing agreement that allows the use of some recorded music. As with the previous questions, copyright laws allow the use of material for study and research is used fairly. An example of fair dealing for research or study may be using music in a film which is to be submitted for a school or university project, but which you do not intend to show outside the classroom or distribute further.
